I grew up in a world where the message was loud and clear: to be healthy, I had to eat “clean.” Restrictive foods were championed as the gold standard, while anything indulgent, especially anything sweet, was met with disapproval. Like so many of you, I fell into the trap of this mindset, chasing after the promise of health through countless diets. I spent years experimenting with recipes that were more about deprivation than nourishment and dishes that required a daunting list of ingredients, hours of preparation, and in the end… just weren’t worth it

My personal battle with disordered eating and the endless cycle of restriction left me drained and disappointed. It taught me the truth: sustainable results don’t come from deprivation; they come from balance and a healthy relationship with food. That’s why I created the Bite Back Cookbook.

I believe healthy eating should be enjoyable, not restrictive. The Bite Back Cookbook is my practical guide to flexible dieting, empowering you to achieve your fitness goals and build a healthy relationship with food through simple, delicious, and satisfying high-protein meals.

I want to show you that you can achieve a lean, toned physique without cutting out the joy of eating. While my recipes are designed for effective fat loss and muscle building, I never forget that food is meant to be loved. I’m happiest in my kitchen developing easy-to-make recipes that satisfy the whole family, and yes, I will always save room for a great dessert! It is so refreshing to see a healthy eating cookbook full of proper food! I grew up in the 90s and early 00s, where a “healthy” diet was promoted as weight loss shakes or a meagre portion of salad, and only bodybuilders had to worry about protein!
